Book Description There's nothing quite like wearing the red and white of Nebraska football, and only the chosen few can comprehend the feelings of pride, loyalty, and honor that define the experience. What It Means to Be a Husker captures that feeling through first-person accounts and recollections from legendary coach Tom Osborne and the greatest players ever to wear the Nebraska uniform.

Great gift for the Husker fan January 11, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this book for my husband who is a long time Husker fan. He loved it and read it non-stop after receiving it. He told me it is a wonderful gift for any Husker fan and has given him new insights and information about the Husker team. However, he would have liked to have more pictures, especially color ones, to go with the articles since it is a collector piece to him. I would still recommend the book for Husker fans.
to be a husker March 26, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The best book on Husker football history! Great memories from the greatest Nebraska players. I would recommend to any Husker fan or anyone who appreciates college football.
Don't be misled... December 14, 2005 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
This book IS NOT by Tom Osborne. It includes a foreword by Coach Osborne, but the cover and listing on Amazon are clearly intended to mislead people into thinking the book was authored by Tom Osborne. Nice marketing strategy, but bad publishing practice!
