Sixth in a series of seven "100 Years of Nebraska Football" art print tributes commemorating the history of University of Nebraska Cornhusker football. The original art series of seven paintings was completed by sports artist Ted Watts in May 1989 for that fall's Husker football centennial celebration.About the Artist Ted Watts has been producing free-lance illustrations and display paintings professionally for thirty-five years. Since opening his own art studio in 1972, he has prepared over 6,000 pieces of artwork - most with a sports theme. He is most famous nationally for a 72 art portrait series of The Heisman Trophy Winners on display in the College Football Hall of Fame - South Blend, IN.
